The Leek police dismisseth...

... well, their old station apparently.

We couldn't face a fourth day in Alton Towers today. We were going to get up early and drive down to Warwick Castle which our Merlin passes would also have got us free entry for. Unfortunately Roz got a dreadful nights sleep and didn't feel up for driving when the alarm went off at quarter to eight, especially since we were going to have to pack and clean at night.

Instead we just had a very long lie and then went for a wander round leek. Thankfully one of the good music shops was shut for the week as there was a beautiful electric mandolin in the window and I probably wouldn't have been able to resist buying it had it been open. It would have been a struggle to fit it in the car on the way home.

I didn't get many photos but I was quite taken with this really ornate police station which was up for rent.
