Still looking a lot like…

Our Christmas lights are still up until Sunday, mainly because I haven’t got time to take them down before then, I always feel quite sad when they’re packed away in the loft for another year.
I’ve been out in the car twice today & both times I’ve had to defrost the windows, I don’t enjoy this part of winter.
It’s my brothers 60th birthday today so I popped in to see him whilst the pharmacy were preparing J’s prescription. He was at work so I didn’t stay long, but caught up with my sister too, all have enjoyed their Christmas & New Year events but some have had the flu over the holidays & have now reluctantly returned to work still coughing - I kept my distance.
At Camera club tonight we looked at & discussed photographs taken by famous photographers & successful club photographers, the two don’t necessarily mix & there were some lively discussions about the merits of both. I sometimes think I took better photographs when I knew nothing about judges & the so called rules. Maybe it’s time for a revolution in club photography where the judges are more open to new ideas & are less picky about a white highlight on the edge of an image.
