Another day of some blue sky and sunshine was very welcome. Bertie seemed very focussed on sniffing the air on our afternoon walk. This usually means that there are deer not far away but we didn’t spot any. Maybe he was just catching the aroma of the venison casserole that I had left cooking in the oven back at home.
We binge watched the very last two episodes of Vera tonight and feel quite sad that this is the end of an era.
