Thursday: Window Replacement

It was long overdue but today we finally had our windows replaced.  When I say ‘long overdue’, we had it down as a job to do 16 years ago when we moved in but then thought we wouldn’t do it while the house was rented out.  K and I hid upstairs while it was going on as, unsurprisingly, it was freezing in the house.

It’s all turned out very well.  This is despite the two guys rocking up this morning and their first words being ‘such a shame to rip the character out’……
