my 1st spider shot...
...probably my last, too
at least i'd venture to say- only because he's so very small - you can see him, right? look closely - i almost missed him myself -
i was focused on the waterdrop, of course - caught as it was - perfectly balanced - after the flowers had gotten drenched - i failed to notice the tiny- itty-bitty spider floundering... having gotten its web probably demolished - so i guess it was barely hanging on - but he was so small - my naked eye didn't see him until i did the upload to the computer - then i thought it was dust - and then, people - yes, even i had to giggle - for all my worries - all my "fears" of spiders - here is this one actually appearing sort of "cute" - really? how does that happen? there's that nature thing, for ya - it creeps in unaware - catches you offguard - soon the concerns you had for a certain insect - have dissipated a bit...
so i'm finding with spiders - as my little flower garden has grown outside on the patio - i have a larger tolerance - i recognize they have a purpose - a duty - i can accept that, leave 'em to it - as long as they don't encroach on my domain - come creeping into my house - we'll be just fine - i have come to appreciate their finer points in nature - not rushing to believe they don't belong - we can live in harmony - they can burrow into the soil of my flowers - doing their magic work for me - in the end, i will respect that - making it...
a
happy day.....
