Buddies of Old Times

Seeing Sweetheart more active than in the past month indicates a good start of the New Year! Today I drove him up to Rethimnon where he was to meet a friend of old times; they'd studied together in Patras and the same subject too, maths and both became lecturers in maths. 


I left them together and went for   an hour's walk around the lovely old town of Rethimnon and on my return I found them two buddies still in conversation; recollecting memories of those years when they were students, that were the Junta years and they, as young men, of course opposed that tirannic reign here.
