Christmas is down

And now … the most depressing month of the year, allegedly. Except we have lots of good stuff going on. 

I volunteered for the job of taking down the tree and packing away the lights and ornaments as everyone else was busy. The council has asked us to cut up our trees and put them in our garden waste bins. Not an easy task.

But there is also something nice about restoring order to the house after Christmas. Bit of a start on the spring cleaning. 

Bloody cold and clear skies tonight. Venus bright, Jupiter also, Saturn just visible to the naked eye too. 

Hope it’s a good year.
