Visitors

We laughed , oh how we laughed when blipper Tryfan46 and Susan paid the Dower house a visit this afternoon. They are up in the Edinburgh area for part of the festive period and it was lovely to see them again after that first meeting last May on the slip at Stromness amidst the half clad Selkies. 
We spent two hours covering all aspects of life and hearing about their proposed move from Kent to Cumbria. We laughed a lot but not about the move, that’s serious stuff. 
Shortly before they left, son2 David and Luca arrived. It was Luca’s birthday but she had been working and so it was easier for them to pop in to me rather than the other way round. It fell to David a renegade blipper himself to do the blipping honours, so here we are and you will notice that Philip had to be seated so we could all be in the same frame!

How quickly the day has gone with all the socialising but now I must make time to phone daughter#5 as it is her birthday too - a clutch of birthdays within 10days.
