Aw aroond the place

Every photo collection should have at least one attempt at capturing an Aurora. This is my first and it didn’t seem as easy to get a picture as many would suggest it would be. Perhaps it was the bitter, icy, well  below freezing wind, perhaps it was the 6 year old iPhone or maybe it was that we just didn’t believe it was an Aurora that we were seeing. It was so obvious it just didn’t seem right. We drove for 20 minutes to get a good vantage point but we could have seen it at the top of the road that runs from our house. In retrospect it was simple. The next attempt will be better.
