Pudding

We're not sweet toothed people and neither of us are particularly fond of Christmas Pudding.  For the last few years we've had an alternative on Christmas Day; a Delia Smith recipe for Sticky Gingerbread Puddings with Ginger Wine and Brandy Sauce.  Despite the sound of them, the puddings are really quite light but the sauce is rather decadent.  They can be made in advance and frozen and once defrosted they only take seconds to heat up in the microwave.

Of course, we made more than we needed so the spares came out of the freezer today and we had them after lunch with the remains of the sauce.  And cream.  Rather good they were too!
