Families, dogs and geese
A light frost this morning and a promise of sunshine. Together with Daughter Two we drove up the coast to Tralee Bay, a popular spot for families and dog walkers. The tide was out this morning and the sea quite calm, so we could wade in the sea with our wellies and not get soaked!
My Blip today is of a family enjoying the sunshine, with Lochnell Castle in the background. On the way back a flock of Canada geese flew over - my extra today.
Back home for lunch, then I drove down to Ganavan beach to make the most of the sunshine, even if I was sitting in the car with a book! Unfortunately I forget that the sun, instead of facing me as it would later in the year, was almost out of sight over my left shoulder, so I didn't stay long!
We finished the afternoon with a game of the much acclaimed 'Wingspan'.
Quote of the Day: 'Winter's not gone yet, if the wild geese fly that way.'' - William Shakespeare.
