2025

Not a great end to the year, for various reasons. A few concerns meant I also lost track of blip. 

A new year begins. The weather was dreadful, a rainfall warning in place. We had a quiet night and a nice midnight chat with our daughter who was partying in Glasgow.
My wife’s neice and her boyfriend were arriving at Edinburgh Airport around midday. The rain was clearing as I drove over to pick them up, but the roads were badly flooded.
Got them back to the house safely and we were joined by other family for a New Year’s Day catch up.
Drove them to my mother in laws, later where they were staying the night.
Amidst all this I never took any photos, but as I went to bed, i did notice that the bottle of advocaat had been polished off.
A busy but positive start to the year.
