Bird Watching

This was morning was the annual New Year Saughton Park Bird Watch.
The weather was beautiful, there was a great turnout and 19 varieties of birds were spotted.  We finished off with a cup of tea in the conservatory.
Later on A and I took Mum for a drive.  We headed off to Duddingston Loch and came back via Craigmillar Castle and the Braid Hills.  It all looked very fine with the sun setting around us.
