City Flares

We ventured out today, it seemed like the first time for ages. Just a walk down to the shops, across the field though.

I noticed the car was still icy in the shade but the ground was quite muddy, the strong sunshine doing its stuff.  On the way we had a record long chat with a dog walker, exchanging views about the weather, in fact we had trouble getting away. She wasn't a local though, someone dog-sitting for her son who was on holiday in Barbados.

We got some lovely long shadows, abstracted a bit with Topaz, a City Flares effect. It looks like we are wearing flares too. Looking at my solar app in this one day we have exported almost as much electricity as we managed through the whole of December. Solar flares!

In other news I have managed to save the hard disc which failed yesterday. Hopefully that has saved me around £100 for a replacement.
