evening all.

Heard a rumour that the Northern lights were heading out to play tonight .

So, as i was Up North and despite the fact that i had overeaten considerably over Christmas , i felt i was light enough to go and see if they were visible.

Got to the beach just as it started to snow a little which was lovely as it blew in and blew out as quick as it came , leaving a little after taste of Christmas in our mouths,

very cold, watched a mini meteor shower , didn't see any aurora activity visible to my failing eyesight,  headed home before i got too cold (again)
to a warming glass of something and a bit of late night chocolate.

Back out again tonight.
