My day

Christmas lights

I have been meaning to take a blip of the Christmas lights in our dining room from outside. As it gets dark quite late in summer I had to wait until well after tea to go out.

I don’t usually make New Year’s resolutions but have this year, it is to learn how to use my camera. My first decent camera was a Nikon I bought from our friend Blipper HobbsRun. I loved it but something went wrong and after many consultations it was declared too costly to fix. My next was a Panasonic LUMIX which was very intuitive and I used it until the tiny cog in the telephoto mechanism snapped and while trying to get the lens in, the circuit overheated and cooked the camera. I did the AYWMC (A year with my camera course with the first 2 cameras). My replacement is a Nikon Coolpix P950 and do you think I can work it out??? I get very frustrated with technology and resist reading the manuals of things so have hardly used it for 12 months (as indicated by what I have downloaded from the memory card).

Now I have located all my paperwork from the course and camera manual (online) I busied myself this evening. Next problem is downloading them onto my ipad. It is new with a USB C connection so doesn’t work with my Lightening connections. So I had to find my old ipad which was locked up in the safe. Of course it had a flat battery. So….after a lot of mucking around here is my blip, taken from the garden after dark.

I notice the painting about the piano is crocked, funny how you don’t notice these things until you blip them.

I wrote a list of jobs to do today and ended up doing others, doesn’t matter though as I got a few things completed.
