RALPH - AN ESSEX BOY

As I was trying to persuade a bee to keep still on a Buddleia, Ralph made a lunge at me on his lead.
I thought for a moment he was a giant Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
I was wrong.
His owner John, told me that Ralph was in fact, an American Bulldog.
So not an Essex boy at all.

For a 2 year old, he was a powerful pooch.
As I said my goodbyes, it occurred to me that John possibly had as much luck persuading Ralph what to do - as I did with the bee.
