Spirit house, far from home

At the end of an East Oxford garden, tucked away behind thistles - could this really be a Cambodian spirit house?

I am thinking of the people of Cambodia today, in the somewhat disheartening aftermath of their 'murky' election at the weekend. If I were the praying type, I could do worse than leave an offering here in the hope of the peace, freedom and justice they deserve.
