Pump troubles

First I would like to express my sorrow and anger for the events in New Orleans early this morning. I could say so much more but best I leave it at that. I'll be keeping my friends there close in my thoughts and prayers  instead. 
The Godson had a bunch of friends over the other night. Seems the pump in the basement failed and they did not realize it. It was a real mess when the nephew finally found it. Hubby gave the Godson a plumbing lesson on replacing pumps. The boy did most of the work. He is a real self-starter and wants to learn how to do everything...even the nasty jobs. Very proud of him. We dropped some kale and Swiss Chard and a late birthday gift at Grammy's house for some of the grands. Also picked up a router from Nephew Jamie for our cousin Mike. We delivered that this evening.  They sent some snacks and good luck soup home with us as well. Seems we ran all day. I guess that is how 2025 will go...some things never change. Have a safe New Year!
