Jess!

Happy New Year!
We were sent this lovely Calendar for Christmas from Blipper greengirl.
Every month has a photo of gorgeous Jess.

Last night I had just gone to bed at nearly midnight, Frank was nearly asleep. Fireworks started to go off so I went back downstairs and Bella was looking for somewhere to hide. She lay down under the table and I covered her with a heavy blanket.
I was about to go back upstairs when my phone pinged. It was a message from one of Frank’s nieces to say her Mum had died. Winnie was 71 but in poor health with severe COPD, she couldn’t walk more than a couple of meters because of her breathlessness. 
Not a good start to the new year but we knew she couldn’t go on for much longer. There were lots of messages going to and fro. Winnie had 3 kids and 5 grandkids

This morning after breakfast I felt the need to clean - my stress Buster!
Frank said, ‘You can’t clean on New Years Day.’ 
‘Oh yes I can!’ I said, and I did. Bathroom, bedroom and living room all done. I felt much better afterwards.

After lunch I did a bit of art but not didn’t feel very inspired.
Tonight we’ve been watching Music videos on YouTube - Mark Knopfler, Emmy Lou, and the Tribute to John Lennon concert. Excellent!
Spoke to all our Kids today to wish them Happy New Year, none of them stayed up for the bells last night, middle aged kids eh!
