Monkfish and prawn rice. One of the best things about winter in Portugal, especially with the addition of a cheeky bit of piri-piri.
Slightly stressful journey: M forgot his phone, so we had to turn back for that, losing some time. Paper boarding passes wouldn’t get us through the gates, necessitating a bit of ad-hoc downloading. Credit card people were a bit too on the ball and blocked my card when I tried to pay car hire, which took a little time to unravel. But here I am; warm, dry and a little woozy from early start.
