Happy New Year!

It's now 2025, and I'm still here having had a bit of a blip-break.
Today we did one of our traditional NY walks in Nidderdale. We have passed these rather impressive cows before, and fortunately they are much more docile and inquisitive than their appearance and size might suggest. We did get rather wet later on, and the extra shows how wet the paths and tracks are. That's me in the extra too ;)

I have been rather preoccupied recently with moving house - something that wasn't even in the plan prior to October, but life is full of such unexpected surprises. It has been quite exciting and stressful.
I spent the last two days of 2024 wiring ethernet cabling from the porch where the fibre comes into the house to the cupboard under the stairs where I have placed the router and the NAS  box (A sort of file server). It involved lots of patience feeding cabling between the plasterboard and the bricks, but the result is much better than having the router behind the front door, and wired is always better than wifi if you can manage it. Next job is cabling up to the study......
Off on a cycling trip in Asia next week, so there should be some good blip opportunities.
