Wild Wednesday ...

... and Happy New Year!

As a wildlife/bird photographer I absolutely had to start this new year with some kind of bird and/or squirrel.  So when we returned from our first day walk at Jacobsburg State park I put these 2025 glasses outside.

Thankfully I didn't have to wait long before this Dark-eyed Junco investigated the situation.  It was rather cold and raw today with a very stiff wind so I appreciated his swiftness!  

I'm not one to make New Year resolutions as I tend not to keep them for long.  I read an interesting article today on resolutions that stated most people drop them before a month is even out ... so apparently I'm not alone.  The author of the article suggested that instead of making resolutions on January 1 when it can be hard to maintain them during the cold months she thought springtime was a better time of year to set goals for ourselves ... especially fitness goals. I approve.
