Into 2025!

Happy New Year to all you Blippers :-D

I wakened very briefly last night at the bells (faint fireworks) then back to sleep. Awake again about 4am got up and had a cuppa then back to bed.

First 'picnic' of the year this afternoon with a mini can of Appletiser and a Tunnock's wafer.

A walk to nowhere exciting, just to the top of Drumbrae hill, an achievement in itself at the moment, a wee seat enjoying the view over the snowy Pentlands. It's been rainy sleet here. Took an old towel with me to wipe down the wet seat, see bench in top Blip.

A very drookit daisy spotted at the edge of the pavement.

John had got me a steak pie from his local butchers so I had that as part for tonight's dinner.
