My return

After a 5 year break, I’ve decided to restart my blip journey. I still take a ridiculous amount of photos, but they are always on my phone these days.

2025 is going to be a rollercoaster, Charlotte will turn 18, take her A levels and, all being well, go off to university. I already know I’m going to struggle with that, on top of my day to day anxiousness and overthinking. I’m hoping this will help me with a bit of mindfulness and gratitude.

Today is my hubby’s birthday, we had a family trip to the cinema to watch Paddington and then had family round for a birthday tea and the obligatory caterpillar cake.

New Year’s Day and three things I’m thankful for are:

1) my family
2) the fact that Charlotte still wants to spend time with us
3) a relaxing evening before reality hits tomorrow
