I was woken in the night. Sounded like the wind blowing a recycling bin down the road. Looked at the clock, it was just after midnight and the noise was fireworks. They went on, non stop, for at least 10 minutes, possibly 15. Must have been a hotel display.

Don’t know if that’s why I’ve felt tired today. Couldn’t even motivate myself to go out when there was some blue sky late morning and early afternoon.

It’s been a penguin day! This morning I put my new Eric the Penguin calendar up. At midday I watched a penguin documentary on tv. Dated 2020 but I hadn’t seen it. Finally I enjoyed the new Wallace and Gromit film again featuring another penguin . . . Feathers McGraw.
