Annual Review.
It has been an interesting (sometimes shit) year and, as usual, I often spend New Year's Eve thinking about things that were good and things that were, well, not so good.
Forget the bad stuff because it could take a long while to type it all out, but the good things....
I have just about survived 2024 and I'm still alive to write this! Result!!
I didn't get fired from my new job!
I think I have had my best year of photography of my life so far. I think I have found my niche and blipping feels more effortless than ever before as I approach my 17th anniversary here.
My work with the Homeless Project has been more focussed and hopefully more beneficial to the charity.
I published my first zine 'Glasgow Unfiltered', the subject of today's photo. It needs some fine tuning, but I think it might just work. "This time next year Rodney, we'll be millionaires"
My talk with Perthshire Photographic Society in October was so good. I enjoyed it and more importantly I think they did too. I already have more bookings for 2025, Elgin and Kirkintilloch. You thought I was going to say New York, Paris and Peckham didn't you?
And I have saved the best until last. I have the most beautiful new granddaughter Safiyya who was born in September. She is absolutely perfect!
