Hide and seek

Poor Beau was petrified by the fireworks last night. We had some just before half nine and then others around midnight. I'm sure they wouldn't like it if someone was crashing cymbals or something suitably loud in their ears first thing this morning.

Today has been thoroughly miserable weather wise, gloomy and wet, and became quite cold too. Don't blame him for hiding under the blanket! It wasn't a day where many people were out walking! Most that were had a four legged friend.

I did pop into the shop to get some crumpets and asked if they had any matchmakers. I was told no, it's not Christmas anymore. So I (tongue in cheek) replied it's not Easter either but that doesn't stop you selling Easter eggs! They had no response to that!
