Eve of the year

A relatively low key end to 2024.
Owen and me went swimming in Oswestry around lunchtime* staying in the pool for over an hour before deciding we were too tired for the park so, instead, headed home for lunch, a film, and some lego building. Louisa was working late and we had a Chinese takeaway booked for when she got back, although it was late. Once we'd eaten it was games with Owen teaching telling Aaron how to play. Once we'd got Owen to bed at about 10 o'clock, Louisa and me opened a couple of cheap and nasty cocktails and watched the Big Fat Quiz of the Year before (and after) watching the fireworks in London.

2024 feels like it's been a bit of a strange year although there have definitely been highlights. Plenty of the usual running and football. A few gigs, days out, and dates, sometimes combining more than one at a time. A flying visit to Copenhagen for Louisa's big birthday, Aaron leaving school(?!) and some much valued family time.
