Annual splash

Love a MYD run: mostly because it’s a great excuse to be in bed before 10pm on NYE. Not that any is needed.

It was a muddy, splashy affair with moments of being ankle deep in mud and water. But an exhilarating start to 2025. Plus a mighty fine pub lunch.

2024 was a weird one, with fewer stand out moments than in previous years. But it’s been good in many ways and I’m thankful to have spent it around good friends and family, doing a job I love and living in a place that I love. I don’t think you can ask for much better than that.

Fun travels this year: Nice and Marseilles with family and friends, an excellent long weekend of running in Ghent and exploring a bit of Belgium, a glorious week in Pembrokeshire and fun, fun, fun in Budapest.
