Welcome 2025

Last night we went to a local  pub in the Bailgate called  the Lion & Snake   to enjoy some live music and welcome in the hew year. A very enjoyable band with a great performance and a great atmosphere . I took a shot in the pub just after midnight and then on the walk home I took some more shots of the cathedral illuminated in rainbow colours for the new year like last year. I have decided to make a collage for my blip. As you can see it was a rather wet walk home ,

Not to late up this morning  but a relaxed lazy one. We took our usual New Years walk to the Brayford area like we have done for as many years as I can remember . We went to McDonalds for lunch as BK is not open it again is a new years tradition we have done since grace was little.

Back home now and watching Lincoln take on Rotherham on TV 0-0 at half time a bit of a grudge match as Jeri and her family all support Rotherham . Update sadly Lincoln got beat 1-0 in a poor match to a silly  scrappy goal in the 85 minute  A relaxed rest of the day is planned .
