Welcome to 2025!

Last night Brian and I walked up to Bailgate to the Lion and Snake pub to see in the New Year. We chose that pub as they had a live band on - The Detail. We hadn't seen them before but they were really good and we will definitely look out for them in the future.

It was a good lively crowd with a good mix of ages. There wasn't much room in there as it was very busy, but we still managed to do some dancing! 

We walked home via the cathedral and I got my first Blip for this year at 1.06 AM! The Cathedral has rainbow lights to celebrate the New Year!

This morning we were not up very early at all! And we have done nothing, other than walk to McDonald's via the Brayford for lunch. I ordered veggie dippers, only noticing that they had cheesy dippers after placing my order! Never mind - the dippers were delicious anyway! We sat around a while before walking home.

Despite a couple of lazy days I have done over 12,000 steps both yesterday and today!
