Happy New Year!

To all - let’s hope 2025 brings peace to the world too.

The weather here was dreadful this morning, glad we hadn’t planned  pa walk, just brightening up a bit now but we are heading for a big freeze and possible snow over the next few days! 

I wanted to share my Robin on blip, an extra present from Grace and John as well as my gorgeous cashmere jumper. I have him hanging on the hearth but on such a dark morning he was hard to photograph so I moved him into the conservatory. (Now you get the added bonus of my new Orchid, the yellow one, from Chris too!)

He is hand made in Bath and goes with one I was given for my birthday, a Kingfisher, I may share him with you sometime. They are both beautifully made with a hint of sparkle amongst the embroidered stitches. Like the Kingfisher I will keep him up all year.

We go to the pub for an early doors drink with friends every Wednesday, we will be going later as this is a very special day. It would have been our dear friend Roger’s (Mr Corinthian column) birthday and we always shared it with him. We will do the same today with his family and friends.
