Golden heart

After a morning run in freezing rain we took shelter in the crypt of the Boulogne cathedral. I’ll admit I reluctantly went along as nowhere else was open, but so glad I did as it is amazing. It’s the biggest crypt in France and completely covered in beautiful wall paintings. There are also a selection of artefacts on display including this gold heart. I don’t know whose heart it contains, but I love it for the steam engine.
The rest of the day was spent eating exceedingly good cheese!
