Day 2

Today has been great but really hard. We have had sun, rain, thunder and lightening. We have cycled on beautiful smooth roads and lots of track - some better than others. We (Mr Pb ) helped another cyclist with some repairs., which made us chuckle for ages afterwards. Needless to say Mr PB turfed his pannier out to get his pump out rather than use the one she offered him.

Route 1 has certainly been a challenge today!

The blip is Bamburgh Castle and we are now full of curry and beer in Berwick. Tired but had a good day.
