New Year Lemon Pig

It's amazing what one learns from one's offspring and their partners. Until yesterday evening I'd never heard of Lemon Pigs as a good luck charm for the New Year - how ignorant can one be? Anyway it seems that these pigs have a history going back over 100 years, although apparently they did have a period of obscurity until the concept was revived about 8 years ago. More details here.

So after dinner yesterday, Son#2 and his partner asked if we had a spare lemon and here's the result.

"Oink, Oink" says the pig as we wish all blippers a happy and prosperous New Year.
