Tree Down!

Been expecting this for a while. This has been dead for some time, with a growing crack a few feet up from the ground developing over the last few months. Change in (strong) wind direction did for it at some point this morning. It has virtually exploded on hitting the ground, but conveniently hasn't blocked the path round our field, by the burn; and perhaps even more conveniently is lying in a position to be a perfect seat by the burn.

I'm going to trying cutting a bit to see if I can count the rungs, and one section might not be decayed enough to cut up and dry out for firewood. But in the main it'll be left as that seat, and as a little sanctuary for the bugs and beasties around here.
