It suddenly became rushed.

Sunday (29th) the physios came showed Graham how to use a zimmer frame.  Told him the nurses would build up his strength.  Discussed how my house was set up for me when I had recurrent limited mobility.

Monday (30th) the physios found some stairs in the hospital that approximated mine (hand rail both sides) - he managed them.
He had a shower and was discharged.

The rush - an hour later Walsall was the first hospital trust to declare a "Critical Incident" - no spare beds because of Flu/RSV.

His riser/recliner was dropped off by his son in law.  The hospital gave us a downstairs zimmer and an upstairs zimmer and so far we are coping.
