NYE

For some reason this didn't load yesterday.

Today started with good news from the BiL who had another follow up procedure first thing. Let's hope 2025 goes the same way.

Once he was deposited back at his house Himself and I went up to town to do what is becoming a nice tradition on NYE, to go to a matinee theatre performance. This year it was "The Tempest", starring Sigourney Weaver and my first ever Shakespeare play (I didn't study it at school).  I can't say I followed much of what was going on but the show was brilliant.

Dinner followed at a place Himself has looked at a few times but for some reason we've never been to. It was a bit pricey (I thought) but very lovely and a nice way to end the year. Plus we are home early enough to avoid too much messiness on the trains.
