Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas blipfriends. 

This photo is my favourite of the day. It perfectly sums up the gloriousness of raising this particular teen. Boxy (the octopus in her hand) is the only gift she asked for, which my nephew bought and named for her. On the door is the extremely grown up leather jacket I surprised her with that she desperately wanted but hadn't asked for. 

We took an unexpected last minute decision to join my brother and family in Essex tonight  after a beautiful meal with friends for lunch. It was a chaotic day that left us both slightly shell shocked but it was lovely and absolutely the right decision.
