Ready For New Years Eve.

We took Molly out for her walk, with suitable New Years Eve headgear on!

Once it started to get dark, we had our dinner outside.

The girls wore glow in the dark jewellery, then we had some sparklers.

It took the girls a little while to take the sparklers (same as last year), but eventually they enjoyed it.

We heard some fireworks go off at 9pm from an organised firework display,

Then at midnight we all got woken by the main display.

Then a house behind us obviously had some illegal fireworks.  They were really loud.

But one in particular made such a loud bang and a bright light, it scared both the girls into their Mum's room.

I was proud of Molly as she didn't bark or make a fuss.  She just looked a bit concerned.

And Sophia, we found under the small armchair in the dining room this morning.

Generally, it was a fairly quiet night.
