Happy New Year

Mauzee and I made a supreme effort to stay up until midnight last night.  It was the first time that the Fireworks Display for New Year would be at midnight in addition to the earlier version at 8.30pm.  Kings Park vantage points over looking the Swan River and the city were absolutely standing room only and we were lucky to find a spot to tuck into with a superb view of the show.  We are spoilt in Australia, particularly when it come to New Year because the Sydney fireworks are arguably the best in the world.  However, this was a real treat and Perth turned out in huge numbers to see the show.  I have added an extra that gives you a sense of the crowd packed in along the grass bank in Fraser Avenue, the main road into Kings Park.  Happy New Year once again to all of my Blip Buddies :)
