Spot the sheep

New Year’s Eve and the mild weather conditions continue.
With a day of visiting planned we avoided any major countryside maintenance today.
I did manage to divert some of the puddles of water from swampy areas in gateways where the quad bike has been gradually eroding them.
We dropped the car off to be washed and give it a light valet whilst pottering around Bideford
After collecting the shiny new looking car we headed to Westward Ho for a wander after devouring our picnic lunch.
Next stop Appledore and another wander around the delightful little village.
Some essential shopping before returning home for a prawn platter with sour dough bread and another slice of apple mincemeat and marzipan tarte.
The wind is blowing hard here, the new year is coming in like a lion.
