Notes: Michelle & I ran to Trader Joe's and Dollar Store first thing. Finalized most of the packing throughout the morning. Got a few steaks from Julie's after removing some stuff. Did an hour's work for Michelle D's website and then rested for awhile before heading to Mosaic District. We hit happy hour for grass-fed beef tacos and meatloaf w/ a Kale Aid drink. Quick stop at Mom's then for handful of things for Michelle and dinner. Headed back, had quite a bit to prepare: roasted potatoes and butternut squash, steamed broccoli, sautéed mushrooms & scallion and cold-seared 2 big ribeyes ... with our NA Fre red wine blend - all quite good. Had bits of numerous things for dessert (and finishing off the choc peppermint whipped cream and the last of the peppermint ice cream). Started a movie and then ended up watching S3 E1 of Lincoln Lawyer. Evening went fast and we called it an early night - will be heading to the airport by 545a tomorrow. Hard to believe it's the last day of 2024!
