Surprise

Intent on a low key celebration tonight, Kerri, Neil, Martin and I had decided on a meal at the local Indian restaurant and then drinks to 'bring in the bells' at our house.

But when we arrived at our designated time the 'Bengal Lounge' was jam packed with diners and people waiting for a take-away.  We retreated for another drink at home, but it was not until an hour later that we got a place to eat.

Part of the problem I'm sure were this large group which included our son Sam.  They were all having a great time.  We hadn't realised he'd be in the same place as us.
