Tuesday: Seeing In New Year

We’ve had a low key New Year’s Eve but a very enjoyable one.  This afternoon we went to East Sheen to pick up some beer supplies, and to Richmond to get a pie for tonight as that’s what we fancied.  In between that, K painted the bathroom door and I had my hair cut (please note the imbalance in activity….)

Just after midnight we had an online drink with Michelle who was my US colleague in Belize and who is now a good friend.  She’s also packing up and getting ready to leave Belize in January.

This time last year we had no idea we’d be home, and in our house.  Let’s see what adventures this year brings.
