Happy Christmas to the blippers!

We travelled down to Yorkshire today, via the lakes to see P's Uncle and Auntie who moved there not long after we moved to Scotland.  Lovely drive and travelling on Christmas day is actually really easy as there's very little traffic on the roads.  I enjoyed the drive by Bassenwhaite as it's ones I've not done before.  I couldn't quite find a parking bay that would let me get a shot of the cloud hugging the main hills of the lakes, but I did stop to catch the sun lighting up the lower slopes on what I think in Blencathra. 

We made it to mum and dad's just before dark for a Christmas tea of lasange and Wallace and Gromit! It's going to be a busy few days visiting folk.
