It’s Panto Time ….

Oh, yes it is!

Today saw our now traditional family visit to the Panto at the Bristol Hipodrome. As you can see from the photo of Sophie & Kate at the entrance, Brian Conley was this year’s star and he was brilliant, one of the last of the old school family entertainers: the part where he “interviewed” 4 sweet little children who had been selected from the audience for a sing along of Old MacDonald had us laughing one second and crying the next, he was so kind and gentle and funny with them.

The whole production was spectacular in terms of set, lighting special effects and costume and the supporting cast were all brilliant. They even had an old school magician and acrobatic troupe doing regular turns. A heartwarming way to end the year.

Back home now for our traditional date with Jools Holland to see the year in.
