Hogmanay ....
.....and the end of a long and mixed year with some wonderful family times and some very sad ones with the loss of Mum in May leading to us three sisters being together in June for her funeral.
We've watched our own family grow and prosper and delighted in spending so much time with our lovely little grand daughter. I wonder what 2025 will hold for us.
"When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with the flocks,
then the work of Christmas begins:
to find the lost,
to heal those broken in spirit,
to feed the hungry,
to release the oppressed,
to rebuild the nations,
to bring peace among all peoples,
to make a little music with the heart....."
Rev. Howard Thurman
I think if I can do what I can of the above, within my world and among my friends it will be a good year :)
