Look, no cup of tea. For New Year's Eve I thought I would go for  a Buck Fizz instead.

As this is the final blip of 2024 here is my annual blip statistical summary.

Bird blips - 87 main blips of which 68 were different. 
I also included 72 different ones as extras taking the number of different birds blipped to 140. 
Taking into account our trips to South African and Portugal I photographed another 107 birds which I never blipped at all (including some common ones) so in total I photographed 247 different birds this year.

Football - 34 
Canals - 18 (including 12 canal bridges)
Books - 23 (although I read a lot more)
Butterflies - 3 
Geocaching - 15

kwdiane only featured in 4 this year but was only vaguely looking at the camera in 1.  I didn't do any selfies.. 

77 were taken at home and another 21 within a mile of home
25 were taken at RSPB Burton
21 were taken at Chester FC

I also noticed that I blipped 200 photos with my iPad or iPhone and 166 with my Sony which I upgraded during the year. Last year I took a lot more with my Sony.

This backs up my theory that I didn't go out as much with my camera in 2024 so my New Year's resolution will be to increase the number of blips with my camera and try to take better photos rather than quick ones with my phone.
